Asus is set to launch the much-awaited ROG Phone 7 series globally on April 13th. A leak of the ROG Phone 7 Pro specifications and images has already made its way online, with recent tipster Evan Blass sharing a render of both the Pro and vanilla models.
The leaked renders of the vanilla model show that it will have a design similar to its predecessor with curved sides and back.
The back of the phone will have three cameras and an LED flash, while the right side will have a volume rocker and a power button. On the other hand, the Pro model will feature the same design but with a different display on the back exhibiting the Republic of Gamers logo.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 should have a substantial 6.78-inch E4 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz, a Full HD+ resolution, and a fingerprint scanner under the screen. It will run on the Snapdragon 820 Gen2 processor and is anticipated to have LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. A Geekbench listing also suggests that there will be a variant with 16 GB of RAM.
The phone will run on Android 13 OS and ROG UI. It will have a 32-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel camera on the back. The phone will have a 6000mAh battery and support 65W fast charging. Its chassis will be IP54-rated, waterproof, dustproof, and weigh under 240 grams.
According to rumors, the base model of the ROG Phone 7 will cost approximately $580 and be launched on April 13th in various markets like the US, China, Taiwan, and India. Leaked images of the device suggest that it will have a white-colored rear panel and dot matrix lighting cutout, dual speakers, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and power and volume buttons on the right edge.
