Sony to add Apple TV app on their Smart TVs

Apple has been trying to roll out its Apple TV on more devices lately so that they could increase the viewership in big numbers. They have been doing so for the last few months, where they are a part of many casting devices and Smart TV. In the same trend, now Sony will be rolling out Apple TV apps to all their Smart TV lineup which came in 2020, 2019, and selective models for 2018. 

Sony brought the Apple TV app first in the X900H series of Smart TV and in the new firmware update v6.4960, Sony will be adding the app to all their Smart TVs. The firmware update to add the Apple TV app is currently available only in Europe and later will be added to the North American market. A few weeks or months later, we can also see a global rollout for the same. 

However, there are a few Smart TVs from the eligible year 2019 like AG8, XG83, XG81, and XG80 models which will not receive the update and the new Apple TV app. Also, you can expect the update to arrive on the AF9/A9F and ZF9/Z9F models from 2018. Sony also confirmed that the Apple TV app on their platform supports 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos streaming on compatible hardware. The app will allow users to see the Apple TV content and content purchase through iTunes. Apple is slowly using the strategy to gain more users and viewership in other countries as well.

Sony preparing to maintain the PS5 demand and supply

Ever since the pre-orders opened up for PS5, a lot of pre-orders were made to get the initial hands-on with the new console. However, soon after the delivery started, many customers made complaints where they had not delivered the console or it had been out of stock for a long time. The console is currently sold out in almost all the popular stores and e-commerce websites as well. Due to this, Sony has made a record launch with the maximum number of orders and sales for the new console, which was confirmed by Sony.

As communicated previously, availability in each country is subject to, among other things, local import regulations, and our local teams are working through the logistics.” The company has already confirmed that they are trying their best to fulfill the stock requirement around the world and will continue to do so in every market, online or offline.

Nokia 9.3 delayed to launch next year

The Nokia 9 PureView was one of the most expensive smartphones from the company lately and also the premium flagship in the market. The company is already working on its successor Nokia, which was expected to launch in 2020. However, it has now been confirmed that the phone launch has been delayed to the year 2021, with no confirmation on the date. The details provided by PhoneArena states that the insider from HMD Global has confirmed the delay in the launch of the handset.

There is no confirmation as to why it is happening and whether it’s the camera setup or a different reason. However, the same kind of delay was also seen in the year 2018 when Nokia 9 Pureview was launched in the market. However, rumored details about the technical specs of the phone are already in the air, which confirms that the phone will be powered using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The phone will also have a 6.7-inch P-OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an under-screen camera.

This time-Nokia will be adding a Penta-camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery which will have fast wireless charging. The phone will only come in two colors, black and blue. Now there is no news about the handset and no official confirmation to support the details from Nokia. But it seems that we can expect the launch of the new Nokia flagship anywhere in Q2 of the year 2021 or at least get confirmation about it from the company.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G renders leaked. Will be the most affordable 5G smartphone for Samsung

Samsung is working on a new smartphone Samsung Galaxy A52 5G for which render images have been leaked. The phone is supposed to be one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in the Samsung lineup. The tech giant has already offered a lot of premium segment phones in the 5G category, however, there was no such option in the lower category. The company has already planned to launch multiple budget-friendly devices next year, out of which many will have 5G support. 

Similar to A52, the company will also be debuting Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02 in the first quarter of 2021, but they will only be launching with LTE support. The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G will be the first affordable 5G offering from the company which will be powered using the Snapdragon 750G processor. There are currently no details about the price or when the phone will be available for purchase, however, the company is already focusing on the A52 model as a part of a more affordable segment. 

The render images that have leaked online show a triple camera setup on the rear and this time the setup will not be rectangular. Instead, the company will have a vertically arranged triple camera design with a dual-LED flash. There is no detail on the camera sensor, but it is expected that the phone will have a 48MP sensor. The fingerprint reader of the Infinity-U screen phone will be located on the side. and the phone also shows a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C jack, and speaker in the render.

Nokia to bring Nokia 5.4 with major improvement over the predecessor

Nokia 5.3 was a great phone at the time of launch but still had a few flaws that did not make it a hot selling phone. However, the company has now decided to bring the successor of the phone as Nokia 5.4 with a lot of new features and improvement over the previous generation. HMD Global will very soon be launching a new phone with a better processor, screen, and camera. The phone will offer a much more powerful processor, but the details are still not confirmed as to whether the company will use Mediatek or Qualcomm processors. The phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Lastly, one of the most standout features of the phone will be the quad-camera setup on the rear. The phone is said to come in two colors of Blue and Purple and will be announced and launched alongside Nokia 7.3 5G next year.

Google Pay to stop the operation of the older app in the US market from January 2021

Google Pay was launched initially to help users with online payment. However, the company has recently launched a newer version of the app and includes a lot of new different features as well. Realme releases early access for Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 on Realme 7 Pro

Realme has been working to bring new updates to their Realme 7 series, and in the same trend, the company is now providing Realme 7Pro users with early access to Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. The same early access has already been provided for X50 Pro 5G and Marzo 20, today the Realme 7 Pro joins them as the company has opened the Early Access Program for the Snapdragon 720G-powered smartphone. However, do not think it as a final update as the developers will still continue to make it better for the final version.

Huawei is working on new liquid lens camera technology for their future lineup

PUBG currently does not have permission to operate in India

PUBG is coming to the Indian market, something which everyone has been discussing for the last few weeks. It was also reported that PUBG has registered its Indian subsidiary which has been registered in Bangalore and will be hiring at least 100 employees for maintaining the operation. It was expected that the game could launch any day now for the users with the official website updated for the same as well. 

However, as per the new details, the Ministry of Electronics and Information technology (MEITY) has told InsideSport that the Corporation or any new entity in India has not been granted any permission to re-start operations in India. Ever since the app was banned in the Indian market, they have been trying to look for various alternatives to re-enter again with the company breaking the ties with Tencent. As per the government sources, there is no change in the stance for PUBG right now. The Ministry source also said that “Any banned entity can’t operate just by floating a new company. 

They will have to get permissions from MEITY to operate once again in India“. It clearly means that it could lead to a further delay of the game in the Indian market for which the Indian users were very excited. Now the company will be trying to fasten up the process which makes the launch of the game faster. HMD Global looking to explore the Indian market for exports

HMD Global who owns and sells the phones under the Nokia brand in the Indian market is looking to explore more options so that the Indian market can be leveraged for exports. The company has recently launched the Nokia 2.4 handset in the market and is working with various ODM (original design manufacturer) and  EMS (electronic manufacturing solution) partners to meet the domestic demand for feature phones and smartphones. 

As per the official statement from HMD Global Vice president Sanmeet Singh Kochhar, “We have different ODM and EMS partners who we work with within India. All of our devices as of now we are selling are 100 percent manufactured in India. While they are designed in Finland, all the smartphones and feature phones for India are manufactured in India.” Ever since the pandemic, many smartphone companies have been facing issues with supplies of components and parts for the phone. Therefore, the company has been exploring more options and markets where the requirement of their supplies can be fulfilled. 

The company is currently evaluating the Indian market to make it the heart and center of their sourcing and looking to cater to the domestic and export needs of the company. If this happens, HMD Global can also get the advantage of the PLI scheme by the government that will extend an incentive of 4 to 6 percent on incremental sales of goods under target segments that are manufactured in India to eligible companies for a period of five years. It would be interesting to see how HMD Global thinks about expanding their market in India.

Click the camera icon on the Window for which you want the screenshot. This screenshot will cover the entire window but will have a white border around the window with a shadow drop.

• The second option allows you to relocate the highlighted area on the screen that you have selected through the crosshair. Simply press down the Command key, and while holding it down press the Shift and numeric key 4. When you see the crosshair, make a selection but do not release the mouse. Simply press and hold the Spacebar key and you will be able to reposition the highlighted area on the screen. It is a great way to make a selection if you have missed some areas while highlighting the area initially.

• Another option that you can use with the same command is by holding down the Shift key. Follow the same process and make the selection, but do hold the SHIFT key while doing so. These locks in each side of the selection area made with the crosshairs save the bottom edge, letting you move your mouse up or down to position the bottom edge. Without releasing the mouse, release the Shift key and hit it again to reposition the right edge of your selection area.

Shift+Command+5

This is relatively a new command shortcut that was released with MacOS Mojave (2018). Using this command will not only give you a highlighted screen but will also provide a small panel at the bottom which comes with multiple options to choose from for screen capture mac. The three selections in the panel allow you to three screenshot buttons that let you capture the entire screen, a window, or a selection of your screen.

Apple to release new iPad Pro lineup with OLED display in 2021

Samsung is already launching the new Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup in the month of January next year and before that, there have already been a lot of leaks and details which have been provided by tipsters. Now another set of details are out for the smartphone range, hinting that all the top-end variants in the lineup will have a slightly curved display. According to the famous tipster Ie Universe, both the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ will use a flat display, while the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will have a curved display. 

However, another tipster has also given details that S21 and S21+ will not have an entirely flat display and might be slightly curved. Google Stadia is planning to add around 400 games next year to its platform

Ever since Google has started working on Google Stadia, there has been a lot of speculation regarding the future of the platform and how cloud gaming will be able to compete with high-performance console and PC gaming. However, with the kind of improvement Google has shown in Stadia, it seems like Google might be able to bring a new popular genre of the gaming industry to life. For now, there are around 100 games that one can play on Stadia and people are already excited to know the direction Google is going to take in the future for the platform to expand. 

As per the latest details from Stadia executive, Google is looking to add over 400 new games on the platform in the future. As per the Stadia Director Jack Buser, “the company has already finalized the plans for the year 2021 and it is going to be an incredible year for both Stadia and users. The team is currently focused on mapping out 2022. But as it stands right now, Google has 400 new games heading to Stadia.” As per him, all the games that are currently in development include around 200 developers. 

So the only question people were afraid about was whether Google is going to kill it if no developments were being made. The answer is no, as the company is fully dedicated to creating this platform and further expanding it into a whole new genre of gaming. Google is already looking forward to bringing more and more games to the platform and upgrading it with constant optimization updates.

The Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power to launch in the Indian market soon

Lenovo-owned Motorola seems to be developing a lot of new phones for launch by the end of the year, and in the list are Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power, which are expected to launch in the Indian smartphone market soon. Both the smartphones have already been launched in the European market this month and will be launching in India with 5G support soon. The confirmation of launch was given by tipster Mukul Sharma but does not mention any exact launch date for the same. 

The expected price for Moto G 5G can be expected at Rs 26,300 and Moto G9 Power at Rs 17,500 in the Indian market. When it comes to Moto G 5G, it features Android 10 out of the box and has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ screen with an LTPS display and 394 PPI. The phone will be powered using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC and will be paired with 4GB of RAM. It also has a triple camera setup with a 48MP sensor and a 16MP front camera for selfies. The phone will have a 5,000 mAh battery and 20W fast charging support. For Moto G9 Power, there will be a 6.8-inch HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) IPS display. 

It will be powered using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM. It also has a triple camera setup, but with a 64 primary sensor and 16MP camera for selfies. The phone is packed with a 6,000 mAh battery and 20W fast charging. Now unless there are any changes at the last moment, both the phones will launch in India with almost the same configuration and price point.

Twitter to warn users before they flag or like tweets with fake news

During the pandemic, Twitter has noticed a lot of fake news being spread through its platform, which leads to a lot of misinformation. It’s not only Twitter but the same trend continued to follow on almost all social media and messaging platforms. Due to this, companies came in and created new features and updated their policies to make sure that such fake news cannot be circulated. In the same trend, Twitter added a new feature to the platform in October where they added warning and restriction on tweets with misleading information. 

The company made a new announcement on Tuesday, informing the users about the new details that would set a warning notification when the users try to like labeled tweets. Labeled tweets will be those which are already marked for misleading and wrong information by Twitter. The feature started showing on the platform in the 2020 Presidential election to make sure that no fake tweets are liked or retweeted. The functionality has now expanded and the warning functionality will be rolling out on Web and iOS devices. The feature will be added to the Android platform in the coming weeks. 

As per the official statement from Twitter, “Giving context on why a labeled Tweet is misleading under our election, COVID-19, and synthetic and manipulated media rules is vital. These prompts helped decrease Quote Tweets of misleading information by 29 percent so we’re expanding them to show when you tap to like a labeled Tweet.” The company has already labeled more than 300,000 tweets now under the Civic Integrity Policy till November 11.

The new Redmi Note 9 series will have an entirely new camera sensor

We all know that Xiaomi is going to launch a new series of Redmi Note 9 on November 26 and this time, the series is going to be equipped with 5G technology. However, the company is not yet done with the surprises and it seems that they will be using an entirely new camera sensor for these variants. Although we are getting new leaks and details about the phone on a daily basis, these details were kept a secret till now. The details for final release by the Redmi’s General Manager Lu Weibing who has shared an official render of the purported new Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. 

The render teased a brand new camera sensor for the series which has never been used before by the company. The image shows a circular quad camera design and gradient color finish. The image shows a quad-camera setup on the rear but is expected to only be visible on the highest variant which is the Redmi Note 9 Pro. When it comes to the vanilla version of the Redmi Note 9, it will house a triple camera setup. Also, the quad-camera setup is expected to have Samsung HM2108MP primary sensor. 

The recently launched sensor is 15% smaller than Samsung’s previous Isocell HM1 sensor used on the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra. It also deploys smaller 0.7-micron pixels compared to 0.8-micron pixels on its predecessor. The entire series will also have 120Hz adaptive displays and better imaging capabilities.
