Vivo to soon launch X60 series of smartphone and Vivo Vision+ initiative

Everyone has been expecting Vivo to finally open up about the launch of the X60 series in India, but the company has not yet made any official statement about the same. However, it now seems like the phone can really be coming to India very soon. The Vivo X60 series of devices has received India’s BIS certification, which shows that the company is ready to launch the smartphones as soon as possible. Also, today Vivo India Director of Brand Strategy Nipun Marya has confirmed its arrival in India.

The details were given in a virtual press briefing where he mentioned that the series will launch in India this month and the company will also bring the Vivo Vision+ initiative to India. They have not revealed any details about the phone or the type of variants they will bring to the Indian market for now. Also, the Vivo Vision+ initiative which started in September 2020, was meant to promote the culture of mobile photography.

Vivo will gather photography enthusiasts via Vision+ Mobile Photography Academy, conduct photography awards. The company will also be bringing the RGBW camera sensor into mass production in the second half of 2021, which is used to provide more pixel area. The Vivo V60 series on the other hand can possibly come in three different variants which will be the Vivo X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+. If there is any change to the hardware configuration for the Indian version, it will only be known after the launch.
