Vivo launches X60 Pro+ in China with Snapdragon 888 chipset

After the launch of Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 last year in December, every smartphone company has been trying to launch a premium flagship device with the most powerful chipset. In the same trend, Vivo has finally launched the X60 Pro+, which is powered by the same SD 888 chipset. The phone has been unveiled in China and is the latest flagship model from the company. The phone is already available for pre-booking and has been priced at CNY 4,998 for the 8GB + 128GB storage option and CNY 5,998 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.

The phone comes with Android 11 out of the box and has a 6.56-inch full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports HDR10 and HDR10+ and boasts 103 percent coverage of the NTSC color space. The phone is powered by the SD 888 and is also paired with Adreno 660 GPU. When it comes to the camera unit on the rear, it has a quad-camera setup where the primary sensor is 48MP, along with a 32MP portrait shooter.

The front brings in a selfie camera with a 32MP sensor. When it comes to connectivity and other features on offer, the phone supports 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of sensors, it has a gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and e-compass. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 4,200mAh battery, and support for a 55W fast charging feature for less charging time.
