Netflix also confirmed that it will roll out the feature globally during a Q4 investor interview on Tuesday. As per the official statement from COO and chief product officer Greg Peters. “Our members can basically indicate to us that they just want to skip browsing entirely, click one button, and we’ll pick a title for them just to instantly play.”
The company has not yet announced any specific date for the feature launch but it is confirmed that it will arrive in the first half of this year. Ever since the feature was being developed in 2019, users started seeing a “Random Episode” label in their playback controls.
