Nintendo Switch has been one of the most popular handheld consoles in recent times. What has been a major plus point for the console is regular updates and improvements to keep the users engaged. The new update on the Nintendo Switch has added yet another feature to the device as a firmware update on the barebone OS. One of the major features that have been added is the new way to share screenshots and videos from the device directly to the smartphone.
The images and videos can be shared by simply scanning a QR code, which seems to be better than the previous option where the users could only upload them directly to the platforms like Twitter and Facebook. Another way of moving the images, screenshots, and video is through using a USB connection over to the PC. Additional features in the update include automatic cloud save data downloads across multiple consoles, a new “Trending” section of the user page that shows what your friends have been playing, a shortcut to Nintendo Switch Online services on the home screen, and the ability to prioritize downloads.
The company has also added 12 new icons based on the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. The firmware update is 11.0.0 and is currently available for all the Nintendo Switch users. If you are still unable to get the update, then you will probably see it a few hours from now. After installing the new update, you will be able to access all the features.
