Sony removes Cyberpunk 2077 from Playstation Store and offers a refund for the game as well

Cyberpunk 2077 is out now and many players and gaming magazines have already given the review of the game on both the latest and last generation consoles. If you have been following the news about the game, then you might know about the huge disappointment faced by both the Xbox One X and Playstation 4 players. Even the gaming community is not happy with the performance of the game on the last generation consoles. As per them, the game is laggy and the performance of the game is below par for everyone. Even game developers CD Project Red’s have accepted that the game was not properly designed for the last generation consoles.

In Fact, the game was built keeping in mind the performance on Xbox Series X and Playstation 5. Due to this many last-generation console owners were expected the company to issue a refund for the game and the same has now been announced by the company as well. The company has now set up a website where the customers can sign up to submit their request for a refund. After the confirmation, the game purchased from PlayStation Store will receive a full refund. However, the company is not entertaining all the requests now so it might take a while.

This comes as good news for the players who bought the game with all the hype and did not find it satisfactory. In comparison to the console, the performance of the game is much better on the high-end PC’s. Also, Sony has removed the game currently from the Playstation store and is the first title with which such a thing has been done. If you really want to experience the true gameplay of CyberPunk 2077, then you need to have a high-end PC or the latest generation of consoles.
