Samsung Galaxy S21 is on its way to launch in January 2021 and the company has recently confirmed that the device will come with the support for S Pen as well. The Samsung S21 series is all ready to come up with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset which was launched in the month of December and Xiaomi will be the first to announce their Mi 11 smartphone with the same Chipset. However, Samsung is not far behind and will be launching the new Samsung Galaxy S21 series with the same chipset in three different variants.
TM Roh, the President and Head of Samsung’s mobile division, also confirmed in the blog post that the S Pen support will be coming to the new series of premium flagship smartphones which was earlier only associated with the Note series. As per his official statement in the blog post, “Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2020. I look forward to sharing more in January!” concludes the post, shortly after this promise: “We’ve also been paying attention to people’s favorite aspects of the Galaxy Note experience and are excited to add some of its most well-loved features to other devices in our lineup.”
It is likely that the S Pen support will come to all variants and will only be limited to Galaxy S21 Ultra and the foldable smartphone range as well. He also added that “Be on the lookout for the super-intelligent, pro-grade camera and video capabilities in 2021. It’s going to be an epic new year.” We can expect to see four new foldable phones from Samsung next year with the next-generation 108 MP main sensor and up to 10x periscopic zoom capability.
