Microsoft issues performance warning for CyberPunk 2077

Recently news came in that developer’s CD Projekt RED of CyberPunk 2077 are providing the users with a refund for the game, especially those users, who have purchased the game for Playstation 4 and Xbox One X. Since both the last generation consoles were facing a lot of performance issues in the game and also led to the downfall of the shares for the company, it was decided that the gamers will be given a refund for the same. Due to the very same reason, Sony removed the game from their Playstation Store as well.

Now Microsoft has added a warning to the listing of CyberPunk 2077, a station about the performance issues on Xbox One X. The warning reads, “Users may experience performance issues when playing this game on ‘Xbox One’ consoles until this game is updated.” The tech giant is also offering a full refund to the digital sales of the game, however, the game is still listed on the Microsoft Store, unlike Sony. Ever since the game has been released on the last generation consoles, a lot of complaints and issues have been reported about the performance and lag.

The same was also recognized by the developers of the game, CD Projekt RED. They accepted that the game was designed for next-generation consoles and is not apt to run on the previous generation consoles for now. The developers have also released a game patch called Hotfix 1.05, aimed at fixing a few major issues layers are experiencing. The fix was released to address various bugs and glitches, including game crashes, character errors, and overall performance.
