Fake PUBG Mobile apps reported in the Indian market

PUBG fans in India are eagerly waiting for the company to launch the game online. However, the eagerness is also something that many fake apps are exploiting. Recently, many fake PUBG apps have been reported on the internet which is representing themselves as the new and actual PUBG app. There is no denying the fact that PUBG has been one of the most popular mobile games of all time and after the ban of the game in the Indian market, the gaming community was very disappointed.

However, ever since PUBG closed their deal and brought an end to the relationship with Chinese company Tencent, it was clear that the company would take certain measures to bring the game back in the market. On November 12, the company also announced that they will soon be coming back to India with a whole new game that has been specifically designed for the Indian players. They also confirmed that they will be setting up a subsidiary company in India which will invest $100 million.

Since the announcement, multiple links have surfaced online claiming to be the Indian version of the game. However, it should be noted that PUBG has not yet released any APK file for Android smartphones, and the ones available are fake. The APK files that are fake and present on the internet could cause big harm to the player’s smartphones as well as the data present on them. Also, it is reported that the fake APK file is disguised as Malware to deceive the users.
