ASUS Announces Vivobook S 15: World’s First Copilot+ PC Integrating Snapdragon X Elite™

ASUS will introduce the all-new Vivobook S 15—the one that’s designed to be a game-changer and the first in this category of the Copilot+ PC processor, Snapdragon X Elite. This advanced laptop features 32 GB of memory, accompanied by 1 TB of storage and advanced technology with artificial intelligence enhancements.

Packed with an amazing 15.6-inch ASUS Lumina OLED display, the Vivobook S 15 has a resolution of 2.8K or 2880 by 1620 pixels, using 120 Hertz for a super-smooth, refreshing rate on the screen. Surely, an exceptional visual experience in whatever activity it is being used in. And it’s a Copilot+-rated PC, implying that it assures smooth multitasking and a wide range of streams, whether for entertainment or work.

The new Vivobook S 15 now comes with a silver chassis, which is slick compared to any of its ancestors. It weighs only 1.42 kg and is 14.7 mm in height. Running under the hood of the Vivobook S 15 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite, probably the most powerful one on the market right now. The FastConnect 7800 system ensures seamless Bluetooth 5.4 and WiFi 7 at speeds of up to 5.8Gbps. The Hexagon NPU is inbuilt to provide it the ability to reach up to 45 TOPS for fantastically on-device AI processing, supporting things like Live Captions and turning sketching into polished art, alongside the inclusions of all other Windows AI features. Plus, it features AiSense IR presence detection, so it’s always there when you are. And, of course, exclusive ASUS AI apps, like StoryCube, make it even better.

The Phi-3-Vision: The Union of Text and Image Understanding in the Modern AI of Microsoft

The new platform, Phi-3 Vision, has been released by Microsoft, which is multimodal AI.
Microsoft, in one go, expands the Phi-3 compact language model series with the new J-Phi-3. Not only does this new frat member analyze text, but it can also interpret and understand images—it is a multimodal powerhouse.

With 4.2 billion parameters, optimized for mobile use, and general visual reasoning, the Phi-3-Vision will now permit querying with high-level questions on images or charts in order to get insightful answers. Unlike image-generation models, such as DALL·E or the Stable Diffusion, which are image-restoring models, the emphasis of the Phi-3-Vision is on image analysis and understanding to be able to offer deep knowledge from the visual data, not create new ones.

The Phi-3-Vision is the next model in the series after the Phi-3-Mini; it has 3.8 billion parameters. The family now has four members: Phi-3-mini, Phi-3-Vision, Phi-3-Small (7 billion parameters), and Phi.
